New Zealand – North Island
After spending a few days in Auckland, meeting friends and reflecting about our opportunities back home, we started our road trip. Katja, Natalie’s sister, joined us for a few weeks. And together we explored Coromandel, Rotorua, Tongariro National Park and Mount Taranaki.

We liked the northern island a lot, but preferred the South Island with its mountains, fjords and glaciers. And not to forget all the penguins and dolphins at the east coast. Here are a few highlights of our trip down south.
