Patagonia in Pictures
As promised, here are the last pictures of South America. I’m happy to show you the pictures of the beautiful region of Patagonia. Patagonia includes the south of both Chile and Argentina. Patagonia is endless grasslands in the east and mountains and glaciers to the west. And mountains and glaciers is exactly what we wanted to see.
Tobi flew in from Switzerland and hiked with us the W-Trek in Torres del Paine (Chile), along the Perito Moreno Glacier in El Calafate (Argentina) and to the Fitz Roy Range in El Chaltén (Argentina). And after a heartbreaking good-bye, Natalie and I flew down to Ushuaia to see some Pinguins at the end of the world.

You can find the description of our 5 day W-Trek route here.
El Calafate & Perito Moreno Glacier
Less hiking, but more glacier!
El Chaltén, Cerro Torre & Fitz Roy Range
The change of color during sunrise is just stunning. Yes, it is enhanced in Photoshop Lightroom, but this way the pictures better reflect my experience in front of these mountains.
The southernmost city in the world and its stunning wildlife (Magellan Penguins, King Penguins and Sea Lions).
And as always, thanks for watching. 🙂
